Access to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences is subject to controlled entry procedures.

• Participants must carry a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Access instructions will be communicated in advance by the organizing secretariat.
• Scheduled arrival times must be respected; late access may not be guaranteed.

Any additional security or accreditation requirements will be communicated to registered participants prior to the meeting.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation.

A list of recommended hotels, selected based on proximity to the venues and transport connections, will be made available on the conference website and/or registration platform.

Early booking is strongly recommended due to limited availability in central Rome.

Arriving in Rome

• Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Fiumicino – FCO)
• Ciampino Airport (CIA)

Both airports are connected to the city centre by train, taxi, and private transfer services.

Local transportation

• Taxis and ride-hailing services are widely available.
• Public transportation (metro, bus, tram) provides access to most central areas.
• Walking distances may vary depending on accommodation location and venue.
